Product Specifications

Body: Warm Off-White / Natural Ecru / Ivory Cream Border & Trims: Antique Gold / Dull Gold Zari, complemented by an Emerald/Forest Green selvedge stripe and a subtle Maroon/Oxblood piping accent. Design & Weave Details Fabric: Lightweight, breathable Mul Cotton (Mulmul). Body: Solid, unadorned texture with the natural airy drape characteristic of fine mulmul. Border: Traditional temple/Kasavu-inspired woven border featuring an antique gold metallic zari band framed by deep green and maroon contrast thread edges. Pallu (Aanchal): Continues the structured border theme with minimal, elegant gold zari horizontal stripes (zari lines) along the edge. Blouse Pairing: Shown paired with a matching cream mul cotton blouse carrying the identical border detailing on the sleeves. Standard Measurements Saree Length: 5.5 meters (approx. 6 yards) Blouse Piece Length: 0.8 meters (approx. 31–32 inches), attached running unstitched fabric Saree Width (Height): 44 to 45 inches (approx. 112–114 cm) Total Length (with blouse piece): 6.3 meters Occasions to Wear Festivals & Pujas: Ideal for Onam, Vishu, Diwali, and intimate temple rituals. Day Ceremonies: Haldi/Mehendi guest wear, morning wedding ceremonies, housewarmings (griha pravesh), or cultural gatherings. Casual / Office Elegance: Festive office celebrations or understated formal daytime events. Wash Care & Maintenance First Wash: Dry clean recommended for the first wash to set the zari and contrast dyes safely. Subsequent Washes: Gentle hand wash in cold water using a mild liquid detergent (like Ezee or delicate wool/silk wash). Handling: Do not wring, scrub harshly, or soak for more than 5–10 minutes. Wash dark/contrast borders quickly to prevent color bleed onto the ecru base. Drying: Line dry in shade; direct sunlight will fade the zari and weaken fine mulmul fibers. Avoid machine spin cycles. Ironing Instructions Heat Setting: Medium heat (Cotton setting). Method: Iron on the reverse side while the fabric is slightly damp to eliminate creases effortlessly. Zari Protection: Always place a thin cotton pressing cloth between the iron and the zari border to avoid scorching the metallic threads or dulling their shine.

Silk
Do not hand wash and only dry-clean silk sarees. In case the saree gets stained, immediately wipe the stain off with cold water. Never hang a silk saree to dry in direct sunlight as doing so will cause the colour to fade.
Cotton
Wash it regularly in cold water and air dry. Separate white fabric from colored fabric when you wash it. Spot treat stains to keep your cotton looking good as new. Please note there can be some shrinkage and colour bleeding for cotton apparels and that is normal.
Georgette
Georgette is a delicate fabric; it should always be hand washed in cold water to preserve its colour and quality. Do not to wring the fabric as it may twist out of its original shape
Chiffon
Chiffon fabrics need to be dry cleaned. Polyester chiffon and nylon chiffon can be hand washed or washed in the washing machine on gentle. Use a mild, gentle detergent. Wash with cold water and soak for 30 minutes, do not wring, lay flat, don't put in the sun.
