Product Specifications

Fabric Type: Pure Silk (Kanjeevaram / Silk Cotton handloom weave with a rich, lustrous texture) Base Color: Deep Emerald Green / Forest Green Border Color: Crimson Red / Vermilion Red with zari highlights Design & Motif Breakdown Body: Allover delicate gold zari buttis (small floral/star motifs) evenly scattered across the emerald green base. Border: Traditional thick red border featuring temple/triangular (Gopuram) threadwork motifs along the inner edge, followed by dense geometric zari woven patterns (Kaddi/Pattu border styling). Pallu: Rich contrast red pallu featuring wide horizontal panels filled with intricate gold zari brocade work. Occasion & Styling Best Suited For: Weddings, festive celebrations (Diwali, Navratri, Pongal), traditional pujas, temple visits, and family functions. Blouse Pairing: Contrasting crimson red raw silk or brocade blouse matching the border. Jewelry Recommendation: Temple jewelry, antique gold necklaces, jhumkas, and gold bangles complement the traditional green-red color palette best. Care & Maintenance First Wash: Strictly Dry Clean Only for the first few washes to preserve the vibrancy of the silk dye and gold zari. Subsequent Care: Gentle hand wash in cold water using a mild silk detergent (e.g., liquid soap nut solution) if dry cleaning isnt an option. Avoid twisting or wringing. Drying: Air dry in shade; never expose directly to sunlight, as it leads to color fading and tarnishing of the zari. Ironing: Iron on Low-to-Medium (Silk setting). Always iron on the reverse side or place a thin cotton cloth/press cloth over the saree to prevent burning or dulling the zari threads. Storage: Store wrapped in a breathable muslin or cotton cloth in a cool, dry place. Avoid using plastic covers or hanging on metal hangers long-term.

Silk
Do not hand wash and only dry-clean silk sarees. In case the saree gets stained, immediately wipe the stain off with cold water. Never hang a silk saree to dry in direct sunlight as doing so will cause the colour to fade.
Cotton
Wash it regularly in cold water and air dry. Separate white fabric from colored fabric when you wash it. Spot treat stains to keep your cotton looking good as new. Please note there can be some shrinkage and colour bleeding for cotton apparels and that is normal.
Georgette
Georgette is a delicate fabric; it should always be hand washed in cold water to preserve its colour and quality. Do not to wring the fabric as it may twist out of its original shape
Chiffon
Chiffon fabrics need to be dry cleaned. Polyester chiffon and nylon chiffon can be hand washed or washed in the washing machine on gentle. Use a mild, gentle detergent. Wash with cold water and soak for 30 minutes, do not wring, lay flat, don't put in the sun.
